|WELCOME TO MRS. ROWLES' 1st GRADE NEWS! |
Our motto is: 'A little work and a little play...everyday!' We know that all students can be successful!
Welcome to all 1st graders and parents! First grade is an exciting and rewarding year! Students develop reading skills and the whole world comes alive!
First grade is also the year when number relationships begin to develop, learning and understanding different forms of numbers, combinations of numbers (adding), how numbers are different (subtraction), and how place value changes the value of numbers.
Children are more likely to succeed when the parents are involved and supportive of their learning. We look
forward to working with you and your
child during the 2015-2016 school year to make it a great success for everyone!
